Just a quick question for all of you that work in the restaurant business; are there serving jobs available out there?

I have worked as a corporate trainer, server, and bartender over the course of about seven years.

What would be some good restaurants to apply at in Lexington? More specifically, what are some of the good, successful independently owned places?

I was thinking maybe Malone's or Sal's, or maybe Merrick Inn, but I don't really know what else is out there; do any of you have any experience working in any of these places?

If you all, who have some experience in the business, could guide me to some well managed places, I'd really appreciate it!

My family and I will be living in the 40502, so I would prefer something close to that.

I currently serve part-time at Malone's, "independent" in name only, very corporate in policy. That said the money's pretty good. 3 locations in town, Landsdowne(Tates Creek) would be closest to you.
