Hi, Im relocating to the Lexington area soonish, and have family that live on Alexandria Drive. Ill be renting an apartment until I get settled in, and they have available units in their complex.
How is this area of Lexington? I havent visited them so have never seen the area, but am excited that its close to the airport and Keeneland.

If you want to be in that area, I think I would prefer to be on the other side of Alexandria over by Cross Keys and Gardenside Shopping Center. While I am sure the area you mentioned isn't as bad as it is perceived, it is not an area that I think anybody on this forum would give a thumbs up. There has been a lot of crime in this area, and that is how I am pretty sure most people perceive it. It has been a while, but there was a shooting in a park near by as well as a drive by shooting at Devonport and Carson Drive.
