The downtown area of London does look nice.

( I went thru there on my way to Corbin last December in my search to find 1 black person in Corbin. I was unsuccessful)

We have just relocated out of Somerset for a job, but really enjoyed living in Somerset. Everyone was very welcoming to us. The majority of the people in our neighborhood were not native to KY. Depending where your husbands job is, I would live in Somerset vs. London/Corbin because the commute would be really long and in snow the roads are not taken care of that well. Our home is for sale if you are looking for one 4/3, .7 acres, fenced yard, walkout basement, 3 car garage, 3300 finished square feet. $225,000

A position has opened up in Somerset with the company my husband works for and we are trying to decide whether to go for it. I am an OB nurse. Any hospitals close by. We have 2 girls, ages 9 and 7. I'll take any info you can offer. Thanks!
Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is in Somerset. There are many other facilities in the medical field i Somerset as well. There is also a staffing service in Somerset that can help you find something in the Medical field; it is called Med Plus Staffing.

Default Any Transplant Texans Living in Somerset?

Hi all. I have recently taken a job in Somerset, KY so my wife can be closer to her mom in Louisville. I am currently living in San Antonio, TX and wanted to know if there are any Texas transplants? Also, are there any good Mexican/TexMex restaurants in the area?

If you travel to London, there is a really neat hot dog shop downtown that has great hotdogs.
