Hi ,

I am trying to find a nice safe house to rent for around 600-900 a month.
We would rather be in a small town/country setting. How is Frankfort?

I think you'd like Frankfort, Versailles or Georgetown. All of those are a pretty easy drive to FMC. I'm thinking you'll probably end up at the high end of your budget to get something nice.

I currently live in Georgetown (though am moving for a new job in July). It's a very nice small town within close proximity to Lex and Frankfort if you want major shopping. Essentially no crime, OK schools. Nice large parks, tons of brand new housing. Only thing I don't like about the area (probably because I grew up in upstate NY) is it can be very "hick". Thick southern drawls, lower education for many (used to be a rural farming community), poor customer service in stores, etc. But the town is nice, none the less.
