Hi everyone,
My husband and I are going to be moving to Little Rock from Texas in a few months. I am going to be going to school at UALR, we are in our mid-20's, no kids (one dog), and are looking for a neighborhood to call home. I have been lurking on this post for awhile, and have seen a few neighborhoods that have been recommended, but was wondering if there were any specific areas that couples or young families are! We would love to make friends with the neighbors and possibly have a park nearby to take our dog/ride bikes/etc. The drive to school won't be much of an issue, as I am used to driving right now to get everywhere! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

What is your price range? Are you buying or renting?

Thanks for the reply! We would like our max to be $150,000 and would love to find something a bit cheaper to call home! We want to purchase a home, we are tired of living in apartments.

North Little Rock might be a good choice for you! you can certainly find a home in that price range, and Burns Park is fantastic. you might also check out Capitol View, a midtown Little Rock neighborhood which is up-and-coming and full of young, active people. you'd be close to Allsopp Park there.

you are right, you don't have to drive long to get anywhere in Little Rock! that is one of the things I like about it.
