My wife and I went and walked around the Capitol today for just a little bit. We go by there several times a year, but I'm still impressed by how beautiful the building and grounds are. I would at least drive by and look at it.

I agree with all above. Also see THE OLD MILL in North Little Rock (across the river it appeared in the movie Gone With The Wind) and visit the NLR "ARGENTA" historic area. Good music available in River Market and at THE AFTERTHOUGHT in the Hillcrest area. L.R. Art museum on Grounds of McArthur Park, where the General was born). You can visit Bill Clinton's Presidential Library in L.R. and his birthplace in HOPE, the latter now a National Park Service Area. I've also lived in PA and think you will find AR very easy and fun. Don

I second the Afterthought. Very unique establishment for Little Rock. Hillcrest also has a few dive bars that are nice if you are into those types of places.

[Moderator cut: snip Based off their interests I actually think Little Rock is a pretty good fit for a city to visit and be touristy in, but I imagine they've already made their trip by now.

As long as you go to downtown Little Rock and stay at either the Peabody or Capital Hotel, you will have a good time.

Little Rock is way more expensive than FL, but I have a feeling that I may like it better.
This advice was so good and made my trip so much fun! Next time I owe you all a lunch!
