Funny thing about the LR Metro is that it may not be the most fun place for singles, but it's great for those with families. This is a very family-oriented city, and part of that maybe because families start at such a young age around here - Not necessarily because of teenage pregnancy and such, but it's the norm around here to get married right out of high school or in your early twenties. Little Rock has more restaurants per capita than any other city in America, so maybe those extra family-friendly restaurants are compensating for the lack of "singles bars". I admit that if I was single, I would be in either Dallas or Atlanta, but since I'm raising a family, I enjoy the comfort of being here in Little Rock(Sherwood).

Plenty of places for running but as mentioned night life sucks. The clubs mentioned in previous posts are soso. you could have a good time or be dead in 24 hours. mainly you would be Ok but sometimes LR can be dangerous.
