Hi, I just booked a hotel on Hotwire for Little Rock that's in the 72211 zip code, on S. Shackleford Rd. Can anyone tell me about the area, specifically any safety concerns?

I live in 72211 and in the past our son, when in town, stayed at one of the hotels south of Kanis Road on south Shackelford and has had no problems. The only exception was one night a noisy party was going on in a room on his hall and he asked to be moved which the management did without any argument. Most of that area is business with an upper middle class neighborhood nearby. I haven't heard of any problems in the area. Enjoy your visit.

Nice area overall, decent options for dining and some shopping available nearby too. I'd say it's a very safe area overall. Based off my previous Hotwire bookings, I'm assuming you either got the Wingate by Wyndham or Residence Inn, both of which are decent places and very convenient to I-630 and I-430. If you were lucky and got Crowne Plaza, I rather like that one. Enjoy your visit!

You should be fine, plus there is an abundance of food and shopping close by.

One of the best travel tips I could give, never leave clothes hanging up in your vehicle overnight. Take them in with you or lay them down in the seat or trunk. This is especially true for an urban area.
