Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on either the Park at Riverdale or Riverside at Rockwater apartments.

My concern for the Park at Riverdale apartments is that you might be able to hear your neighbors because they have laminate flooring on all floors and apparently thin walls.

For the Riverside at Rockwater apartments, I am concerned about the run-down looking neighborhood located very close to the apartments. Although it is gated, I witnessed the gate being left open during the day on Saturday and a review from a couple of years ago mentioned hearing gunshots from that area. However, no one recently has noted any safety issues there.

Any other info on these or other nearby apartments would be helpful. I liked Brightwaters, but am concerned about their small size.

Thank you!

We enjoyed our two year stay in Brightwaters. The apt was just ok for the price but the location is what your really paying for. We felt very safe and miss its proximity to the river trail and bars/restaurants. I could ride to the big dam bridge from my door in less than 15 minutes. I thought the park seemed overpriced, perhaps check out the Residence if your looking for something nicer. Overall we really liked the Riverdale area.

My friend lives in Rockwater and said its not uncommon to hears gunshots. They are trying to improve the area but it's a slow process.

Have you looked at the new apartments in Riverdale. Not sure what the name is. Maybe it's the Residence that Colorado mentioned.

The Riverhouse are fairly expensive ($900+) and the Residences at Riverdale are also expensive for what you get ($800+ for 568 sq ft).

I might go just deal with the space issue and go with Brightwaters, unless I hear good things about the Park.

Thanks for the info about Rockwater; I have completely taken that off the table!
