Man, no kidding. And our senators are in their pocket. I'm pretty disgusted right now.

I'm scared about the 2010 election. I'm pretty sure Senator Lincoln will lose...I just hope IF we get a Republican, they aren't ULTRA conservative.

This is Arkansas. I wouldn't expect any different. They will likely be fiscally liberal but way "in your bedroom" conservative. All a politician usually has to do in this state to get elected is gay bash (think John Boozman). The one silver lining is that running a campaign on gay bashing didn't work for Asa Hutchinson.

what do you mean? except for Tim Hutchinson, Arkansas senators have all been Democrats for more than 100 years. I'm not happy at all with Pryor and Lincoln, but Bumpers and Pryor were some of the best senators any state could want.

and except for the third district, most of our representatives have been Democrats as well. not necessarily your most liberal Democrats, but Democrats nonetheless. I'm just glad Snyder is representing me.

Mod Cut: If you guys want to talk about politics, start a thread for it in the general AR forum. I'm closing this one because it's apparently run it's course since we've ventured this far off track.
