I am seriously considering renting an apartment in this area of downtown little rock. I'm worried though cause I know nothing about safety in the city.

The East 8th Street address in kinda in a "fringe" area, and if I had to choose between the two I'd go for Cedar Hill Road. Hopefully someone with more personal knowledge will jump in here and give you more detail info.

I personally love that area of downtown, but, you know, it is downtown, with all that entails.
