Hey pop I have a question that maybe jon or someone might be able to answer for me I have a british gaming console if I get an american tv will there be any problems all the connections are the same I'm just not sure because the use a different amperage or voltage I don't remember which one it is I don't want to blow up either the tv or console. Youll need a step down converter to plug the American tv into a British socket but...otherwise theres no problem. I used an American console on a British tv and the graphics were a bit off (right side of the screen had a redish tint) but thats a British tv/PAL/something issue. I dont think the same issue exists the other way around.

Yes there will be a PAL(UK)/NTSC(US) issue, unless the console says it is compatible with NTSC. I've only ever tried one PAL product with an NTSC TV. It was a PAL camcorder. When plugging it into an NTSC TV, it played back in black and white with very distinct large pixels.
