Well I guess they have to eat too. I have never seen them on my plants- only the patio and and around the yard but I just step around them and let them be. I don't know why most people are so quick to kill everything.

I went into my backyard patio at 10 pm and there were 5 of them. Good sized, I just let them crawl.

One night last summer I noticed a pulsating glob dangling on my fence: turns out it was slugs...mating.

They leave a trail of mucus everywhere they crawl.

I heard that if they touch your skin, they will latch to it. LOL

You can surround the afflicted plant with eggshells. They also cut the slug as it crawls over them. And they are better for the plants than salt or beer.
