I just rec'd my leather sectional from Bob's, even though the service and delivery was Great ..now that I have this furniture in my house I can actually see that it's not as sturdy and comfy as I felt at the Bob's furniture store. I'm a little disappointed and thinking about sending it back and look else where for more reliable and sturdy furniture. If i'm going to spend this type of money, I want good quality furniture. I notice that the leather is feeling plastic and when I get up sometimes the whole sectional shakes and lifts up!! This furniture feels like it was thrown together almost like it's a blow up furniture!! Anyone else experiencing this!!??? Very disappointed!!!!

Love Bobs! Great for people with kids! They destroy couches and the quality is just as good as any other place. The finest Chinese furniture!

MY LR set is from Ashley and while it seems sturdy the so called "leather" on the arms of one of the couches is peeling off, I have had to replace the covers on 2 seat cushions twice but it was under warranty at the time and they sent me 4 free cushion covers. Nothing is made to last anymore. My mom's living room set is more than 25 years old and looks better than the crap they make today. If you are old enough you may remember Scandinavian galleries. That is where it came from. I don't have pets or kids so I can't blame them for my couches looking worn. Before this set we had a couch, love seat and recliner from Seigermans on 110.

The color on the leather on Bob's couches come off. I had a set of the power reclining 3 and 2 seaters. Paint started coming off the leather where the head is on every seat in under a year.

Standard, goof proof, extended warranty. whatever its called, cover zilch. Never will I purchase from Bob's again. I was tempted to take a knife and cut the leather to see how they repair that under their warranty.

Before we got furniture in our house in 2003 my DH and I sat on lawn chairs for 2 weeks with a plastic table in between. Now that's high class living! Then my husband said this sucks and we bought our first living room set.

In my own/families personal experiences it's been quite hit or miss. Some pieces are great, some not so great. It's pretty strange. I feel like the higher prices bobs stuff is good quality, but then you might as well just buy from somewhere else...that's what I ended up doing.

Was recently looking at 40+ year old pictures of my family sitting on lawn chairs in our living room. Good old days?

Such a waste to spend a fortune on furniture. Take what you save and put it in an index fund. You'll thank me is 30 years.
