Neighbor's 80' Oak came down, crashing his roof in and damaging the roof next door also. Levittown.

Was at Tanger in Deer Park. It became VERY windy and the skies opened up around 3 PM for about 10 - 15 mins. Everything cleared up after that.

Great Neck is a mess. The sky opened and the rain fell so you couldn't see in front of your face. There was hail the size of marbles. Trees fell down everywhere. The roads were littered with trees as were the houses. It was like a war zone. Cars were destroyed...pretty bad.

It took me an hour and a half to get home (it normally takes a half hour).

Took 45 min just to travel from Port Washington to LIE @ Roslyn this eve.

Almost all power is out in North Hempstead town except for a few areas. Seemed to be the brunt of teh storm, the damage looks to widespread to be a tornado, prob straight line winds from a microburst. I have photo that I took in East Hills as the bus was getting detoured. A tree fell on a car. I sure hope no one was in it!
