Looking for a private room for rental in Nassau County to host a 2-day class (New York: hotels)

I'm posting this for a friend. He's looking for a private room for rental in Nassau County to host a 2-day class during late August. The room does not need to be fancy or elaborate, but should be clean and have a restroom. Capacity of the 2-day class would be 30-40 individuals.

Preferred area is Nassau County near either the LIE or Southern State, though western Suffolk would be acceptable as well.

Any suggestions or recommendations?

I always take my continuing ed in the type of room Tom describes at the Hampton Inn on Merrick Road in Rockville Center. Seems like it would fit the bill location-wise.

any of the hotels can do this. Also some volunteer fire depts might be willing to rent their room to you.

you can go to Raina's Place in Woodbury New York- Great room and holds up to 50 people. you can bring in your own food and beverages and you can rent the room by the hour.
