Nassau County has a nice one.
Does Suffolk have anything remotely similar to it?
Where you can see square footage/property taxes etc. of places in Suffolk.

Funny you posted this...I was just getting ready to do a search to find taxes on homes in Suffolk County. I think they have a similar site but its like $500 per year to get into it.

Suffolk does not have a similar price because assessments are performed on the town level, rather then the county level.

If the person doing the search doesn't have the Section block and lot number, it could pose a problem in Suffolk. Out of curiosity I googled my address in pursuit of that info, but the closest I came up with was my census tract number on blockshopper.

I know, but it's all Suffolk offers. The instructions on the website say:

You may contact the Town Assessor's office in which the property is located to obtain the Tax Map Identification Number.

Some Town sites are better than others - are you looking for info in a particular Town?

Type the address of the house into zillow.com. Up will come the home, now click on "Get more details" - at the bottom of the screen will be the 19 or 20 digit Taxpayer Identification Code. Now, take that and enter it into the Suffolk County Clerk page for Property and up will come more data then an average person knows to do with.

Does anyone know how you would find out about someone's homeowner's insurance? I tried at the clerk's office but they don't escrow their taxes and the clerk said they wouldn't have that info unless the person has their taxes in an escrow account.

Huntington- in particular.
Might be moving farther east in a year or two if I end up working in Melville instead of Manhattan.
