Go down Hillside ave in N. New Hyde Park the road is lined with them. If that doesn't fit your fancy, head west past the Nassau border even more. Finally, stay on that road into Jamaica and pick from the many Indo-Guyanese restaurants. If you can't find something you like on that road then forget it.

If you want the best you'll have to drive around 30 minutes. House of India on Main St. in Huntington. Order the Chicken or shrimp Vindloo

If the west Indian dishes are more your flavor, you have to try Sybil's in Queens on Hillside Ave. Take out joint but the best curries, Jamaican / Guyanese food, bakery outside of the Islands.

Mike you have a great palete. I've been to Sybil's as well. I love it. There is another nice sit down one on Hillside but the name escapes me.
