Much faster with the tarp - thanks for the idea.
I improvised to make a compost site, but most of the trees are majestic oaks, and probably the leaves will not degrade too much.
The reason I have not done composting before is that I thought it had to be a better controlled process... Have read that one needs to add "healthy human urine" or other degradation-enhancers

Wonder if just grass and oak leaves will work at all, or just be a stack of leaves in the wooded area in the back yard...
