Im moving to Long Island next week, ive never been there before. My family is coming to visit me for Christmas, (wife and 18 & 20 year old daughters) for a week. What is there to do and see on Long Island for Christmas and in the city? We will be residing in Nassau County but would also appreciate any info for the city as Im sure we will go there once or twice.
The typical-Rockefellar Center Christmas tree, 5ave store fronts, Central Park. It will be a zoo, but seriously breath taking and totally worth it. I am still amazed even as a lifelong NY resident.

take a drive out to Montauk Point - the lighthouse is decorated with holiday lights . Worth the trip and I really mean it.
Go to Uniondale Plaza(used to be EAB) it is the Rockafella Center of Nassau. The windows are decorated, as well as the inside very beautiful.
Do Manhattan, go see Wintuk.
