Hey all,
Wondering if anyone might have some info regarding the LIRR and the best stop in the Franklin Square area. I looked at the LIRR map and there seems to be no single option that might best fit as for parking, security, etc.
Thanks much.

Tough....North of Hempstead Turnpike, you might be closest to Stewart Manor, Garden City or Merillon Avenue stops, depending where you are in Franklin Square, but you have to be a Garden City resident to apply for a parking pass. So you would need to walk, and it could be pretty far (think about doing it in today's freezing temps). South of Hempstead Turnpike, not sure -- maybe someone else could offer advice there.

I once dated a guy who lived in Franklin Square and he would go to New Hyde Park station. You need to get a daily parking pass though...it wasn't cheap but it worked.

North of Hempstead Turnkpike, your options are Stewart Manor or New Hyde Park Stations.

drive to malverne, pay $300 a year but really bad train schedule
