My old unit is from the early 50s, 72,000 btu, burner head over 20 yrs.
new blower motor 1999. The unit is sealed with duct tape. last test about 75 5 efi.
Giving Frank Bros [ current oil dealer who we have been with for over 15 years ] the first bid, but the sales guy already said they will be alot more $$$$$$ than my friend & neighbors Uncle who is a Nassau HVAC LIC. contractor.
Also will replace the very old oil fired water heater [ water is getting rusty]
Any tips, or recos.
Thanks in advance.
PS The Uncle gave a price of 1,100 for a 32 gallon J. Woods water heater. [ complete with a new burner head] installed.
