South Shore coverage is excellent. The North Shore is a different story. Also, Sprint has free roaming with Verizon so you'll be able to make calls even when there's no Sprint coverage.

If you have one of the "everything plans" roaming is free. Data roaming is free as well but you won't get 3G speeds or anything close.

Oh I have the everything 450, but I wasn't aware I would not even get 3G speeds. Lame. I barely get 4G in my area.

This is true. With a small catch - you cannot roam from sprint to Verizon with more than 50% of your minutes. I guess after that point you get charged. I plan on switching to sprint because I know in my area sprint coverage is not bad, so for those small chances where I am driving around somewhere and I don't have coverage, to be able to jump to VZs network for free is awesome.

I love sprint. It works everywhere great except Long Beach, lol. It even worked perfectly in Europe. Go figure across the ocean it works fantastically and then yet in my own home it doesn't. Siiiigh. Most of the time (when i'm not home, which is 99% of the time), it works perfectly. AT&T is rated wprst cell provider by the way. There was just a report out.
