I am looking to move or remote my thermostat into another bedroom, it is a line voltage thermostat, one way would be to move it or convert to 24v and get a thermostat with a remote sensor.

Probably converting to 24v will be better in the long run since they sell really fancy 24v ones and line voltage thermostats pretty much suck.

Know anyone who services levittown?

Thanks!

Lakeshore Electric in Massapequa, I can't find the # but you can probably google it or whitepages.com.

I refuse to hire any electricians for any work other than upgrading a service line. That sounds to me like a DIY project. Why get ripped off by an electrician?

What do you consider "fancy" ? There are many programmable line voltage units out there, just look beyond home depot or lowes. Honeywell makes great units, I have them in my home and they are easy to use.
