Well I was an hour late for work today, and must have noticed about 40-50 of those small buses on my four mile drive to the parkway. Where did they all come from ? Why are they needed ? I know they are used to transport special needs children , but the number I saw today seemed excessive.
I have seen a few in the past, but never never so many at one time. I did notice a few larger buses, so I know those are still around.
I'm sure all these buses are driving our taxes even higher... does anyone know why they appear everywhere now ?

They all get dispatched from one place, so you were probably caught just as they were leaving the yard.

I think they also try to jam the smaller buses full instead of driving a larger bus which is half full. Guess it saves on gas and time.

Little busses= special needs children.
Large busses= the normals.

It's not even worth explaining.

I took the short bus to high school. It was because there were only 2 of us on the bus route. Actually there were a handful more at our stops but I guess they were too embarrassed. The driver was also from the same block.

Parochial school kids get small buses depending on the amount of pickups. Ours used to be a half empty big bus but when the gas went up and up, they switched to a small bus which is full.
