Hello all,

My husband and I have found a great apartment for rent in Glen Cove. It's located on Alex Lane off of Valentine Avenue and Glen Cove Avenue. The realtor says that it is a part of North Shore Schools district but maps online say that it's a part of Glen Cove schools district.

We do not have school-aged children yet but want to know if this location has good schools? We will not be living there when our children are ready for high school.

So, how are the elementary schools? And is this location in GC school district or North Shore?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I've read a lot on this forum about gangs and other scary things in Glen Cove. Does this apply to this part of Glen Cove or is that more north?

Any more information would be helpful.
