You need to stop being a "nice guy", nice guys always seem to finish in last place. As long as this guy has gone underground and
the police are looking for him, you might feel free to post his name here in public domain, after all, he is listed on facebook and by
virtue of that fact, you might want to send out messages to all of his "friends", just to make them fully aware of their own possible
vulnerability. If this guy is a thief, it's within his nature to continue to burn people. Think of how fortunate you would have been if
someone else had tipped you off, about his evil ways.
