I just saw 10 mins. of Kitchen Nightmares featuring Classic American in West Babylon. Has anyone ever eaten there before or after Chef Ramsey put his swing on the menu? Is it still open? Most of the restaurants he helped ended up closing for business. The only one to my knowledge that did well and still does well is Finn McCool's in Westhampton.
One thing I did notice were the scenes they portrayed to be West Babylon was actually Babylon village. Is West Babylon that unattractive that they couldn't kind street scenes in the hamlet?
There is a commercial area on Little East Neck road in between the Southern State Parkway and Sunrise Highway which is a nice little downtown area but that is all I can think of, all the other Commercial areas just consist of generic strip malls (of varying sizes).
(I never ate there, I might have to eat there one day)
After seeing it I wouldn't consider going there, not because of the food but because Dominick the knuckle dragging goon works there, and he might stand to profit from any money I spend
Talk about a stereotype of everything that sucks about Long Island, that guy takes it.

I think they simply got lazy and re-used footage from the Peter's Pasta episode from a few years back.

I didn't watch the entire episode but I agree that he looks like he might be a big eyesore for the restaurant.
