I remember when I was a kid, my friends and I used to scoop quarters up from those fountains to play video games!

I don't think that means your kids won't fit into the area, it's diverse. Walter's suggestion may be the best way to find out, let us know if you contact one of the local synagogues.
I'd back both of those up too. No one is going to be ostracized or feel strange for being Jewish in Massapequa, or really anywhere in Nassau County. In yet another, much older, thread a similar topic came up where someone was saying Levittown is no good if you're Jewish. I went through my high school (Levittown) yearbook and counted something like a 1/4 of my senior class as members of the tribe... and those were only the ones I knew for sure. That was awhile (ten years! ) ago so things may have changed a little, but they're definitely still out there.

No clue what the percentages are for anywhere, but I guarantee your kids will attend at least one other kid's Bar Mitzvah if you move to Massapequa.

Also - if you're looking for an area with a much more noticeable Jewish population, Bellmore definitely has it. I still see tons of families walking along Jerusalem Avenue to one of the many temples on Saturday mornings.

Not sure about that, or where that info came from. I went to MHS (graduated in 2000) so basing it off who I knew in high school combined with my old neighborhood (which I lived until 09) One thing to keep in mind is Massapequa does have quite a few Jewish-Italian marriages.

The Jewish population in Massapequa is certainly lower than Bellmore and Merrick, but its not exactly Garden City either.
