It's a total buyer's market. No private sale route will be easy unless it's a killer deal. That said, Craigslist gets it out there. Ebay covers a wider area but is not free (pay for the ad and pay after the sale, also pay paypal if you take a credit card). I've done well with CL, but I know how to read through the BS and get to the serious responses. If I don't get any, the price is too high.
