My wife and I are looking to move to LI from Manhattan. We are reform/conservative and looking for good area. Great Neck and 5 towns are probably too religious for us. Roslyn is too expensive and we don't want South shore. What about Port Washington, Jericho area or Commack? Can anyone help us?
op, yes, aside from port. commack and jehrico absolutely. west hempstead, plainview, oceanside. In fact the only towns with a reform segment i can think of are garden city and floral park.
thanks, what about port washington, I've heard mixed reviews, is it jewish or not?
On Long Island, we don't separate towns by religious beliefs.
