Strange to be annoyed over someone playing such a poignant piece for his neighbours. Try saying thank you to him instead and take a chill pill.

Good news - this happened so long ago, the annoying neighbor's trumpet corroded and was subsequently pawned.

Thanks for bumping a nearly 2-year-old thread to add that genius bit of insight.

First of all City Data encourages people to look through old threads and still respond to them.

Second of all this person has a right to express an opinion without receiving a sarcastic reply such as this

In today's episode of "minor differences" ... they do that so we don't have 73 different threads asking if Wyandanch and Central Islip are ghetto, not so people can bump ancient rant threads that have nothing to do with anything and add their uninteresting two cents.

They're entitled to share their dumb opinion, as I am to share my sarcastic one. If you can't take the heat... well, you know the rest.

I told you I'm not the root of the issues here. I haven't posted anything.

On a side note, My grandfather was in the Army Air Corps during WWII. At his funeral they played taps and folded the American flag. It was one of the most touching things I have ever seen. I lost it when they gave the flag to my grandmother and said "On behalf of the President of the United States please accept this as a token for your husbands service." Or something like that. I lost it.

That sort of had to do with taps.
