Been doing some beach walking of late, couldn't help notice the work being done to the beach side of the pavillion. They have built this big terraced planter box that runs the whole width of the pavillion, filled it with all kinds of plants and covered it with sand. It has some sort of oval concrete tunnel that runs through the middle.
Today I see they have painted the two storage buildings closest to the beach a dark blue that is one shade away from purple. Planted palm trees, and are erecting some outdoor gymnasium and game equipment that looks, well...straight out of a t.v. outdoor obstacle course type reality show.

maybe they are filming a t.v. outdoor obstacle course type reality show? i saw one on tv that was supposed to be icy/snowy themed but was obviously being held in a warm climate. maybe they needed a beach that would let them film but they want to make it look tropical?

Thats the challenge to take the contestants and deprive them of all that civilization has to offer. During their stay at the camp they have to watch Guido city, hip hop hooligans and nuevo riche in the adjoining parking lots while they survive on sandy rice and a non-serviced porto potti (can't be dumping poo poo in the dunes)....
LOL at some of the concepts y'all are coming up with.
I should state that I am not sure that a Reality Show is what all the goings on is for, just looks to me the most probable use for what they are putting together. Could be they are going to film a series of exercise videos, or something else altogether. They do seem to be going out of their way to make the scene very Un-Long Island like with the tropical plantings and the near purple blue they have painted the beach umbrella storage buildings.
If it is a reality show, I don't think they should leave out the challenge where the contestants have to climb a pole greased up with hair styling gel....
