I remember going to St. Patrick's mass at a drive in on 5th Ave in Bay Shore and our mom telling my sister she has to give her the Wake Up Little Susie 45rpm record by the Everly Brothers because the lyrics contained a verse about Susie getting home at 4am. I assume the priest was giving a sermon about immorality.
I went to the one in Westbury many times. One person would drive in alone and the rest of us would hop the fence for free. They would make the guy driving in open his trunk to see if there was anyone hiding in there. Fun times!
