Unlike the CCTV thats all around us that had the police being called numerous times probably before the fingerprints were even matched up?

He who gives up liberty for safety deserves neither.

American nationalism is a particularly dogmatic religion.

Fingerprinting to own something whose purpose is meant to kill and registering it is not taking away from liberty.

You can bet your tighty whities that less people would be a lot more cordial if we all had guns. Think of it this way. How many major wars have their been since the introduction of nuclear weapons? None, because each party knows that an attack will, most likely, cause an equally devastating reaction.

My theory, give everyone a gun and some good people would die, but all the idiots would be gone in about a week.

Agreed, give everyone a gun and you wouldn't need half the police force.

Its purpose for 99.9999% of America is target shooting with an alternate to defend oneself.

And in another instance of "Treat gun owners like criminals", when your involved in a self use of firearms the police take and hold your gun for a month! Requisit "cooling off period". gee, hope they didn't have friends, cause now the homeowner (who did nothing wrong) is SOL.
