Fee hikes to the pistol and long gun permits (340 and 140). (2004)
Numerous FOPA violations by NYPA and NYCPD.
Admitting the fees weren't going to hold water when it was challenged, yet kept them and is now in the process of fighting them.

Won't even get into his:
Mayors
Against
Firearms
In
America

I regret that I didn't link the full page long story about Bloombergs changes, pushes, and other things that have been anti gun.

Personally putting NYC police across state lines to investigate out of state gun shops is crossing a pretty well defined line.

LOL, those were funny as heck for me. After how many investigators hours, hundreds or thousands of transfers, a few thousand people all they could parade in front of the cameras were <10 misdemeanors from private sellers.

No doubt the lower counties are taking cues from Herr Bloomy, as stated previously in this thread an adamant anti-2a politician, with regards to gun ownership. $300 for a 12 month wait to be told you forgot a traffic ticket on your handgun TARGET (NOT CCW) application from 5 years ago, an extremely underfunded county range, gun store owners being targeted for nonsense, etc. It can't all be a major coincidence.

Most of those things predate bloomy. This is an unfriendly state for gun owners from Albany on down. Things like needing a pistol license to begin with, the state assault weapons ban, etc.
