Shotguns, Rifles, Handguns...what's the best gun shop etc, within 30 minutes of SE Nassau/Pequa? Best bang $/best CS.
Coliseum Gun Traders in Uniondale has a large selection but the staff is kind of gruff. Suffolk Sportsman in Smithtown will treat you much better but showroom has smaller selection.
Dick's also has decent prices on basic rifles and shotguns, no pistols though.
I bought a .22LR from them and while it was reasonably priced, the salesman had very little information about the rifle, past it being popular. IMO it's nice to go to a specialty gun store and get knowledgeable salesman telling you about things that explode a few inches from your face.
