Can anyone recommend a reputable taxi service in Huntington village? I need a taxi from my home to the Cold Spring Harbor train station.

Since there is no taxi stand at CSH, taxis come from the Huntington RR station and will do the trip. When calling, allow sufficient time for the pick-up, as they try to collect several fares at a time, if possible. (I speak from experience LOL)
Orange and white is the only one local "Lindy's" taxi is another I see around at times perhaps they would beat Orange & white on prices??Competition is the friend of the consumer.
Orange & White and Islandwide are the two big ones and they are both awful. Trust me, I live in halesite and have used both several times because they were the only games in town and they provide just terrible service. I have plenty of examples.
However, there's hope! I just found out about Dobro Express and I'm very excited. Hybrid vehicles, cheaper service, airport deals, book a cab via text or online, loyalty rewards program. they sound great and i welcome any competition to the above two companies. I'm definitely checking them out next time i need a cab.
