Legislator Browning is sponsoring a bill requiring that the placement of social service clients be spread evenly across all 10 towns of Suffolk County. She is asking for civic support for this bill, and for interested members of the community to come out to speak on the measure.* It is important that impacted communities be heard on the bill, which would require the Department of Social Services to take affirmative steps to avoid concentrating placements within specific limited geographical areas or communities adversely impacted by a disproportionate share of such placements.* The bill was laid on the table and will be before committee for the first time at 2PM on Thursday at the County Legislature in Hauppauge.
This should go over like a fart in Church.

What a shame, i hope this gets shot down and all the crap is hundled in one crap filled zone, for containment purposes.
