Does anyone have a recommendation for an inspector in Huntington?

About to do some much needed work on parents' home and now sister is questioning the foundation. We (and neighbors) always had a leak in basement (not flood, but puddle of water in corner) that comes in with heavy rains. The basement is paneled so foundation walls not exposed. I think she is concerned because the water has recently stayed put instead of being vaccuumed up due to power outage...

Are there signs I should look for in regards to checking the foundation?

We have to decide if worth it to redo or just sell to a builder. How do you even find a builder to sell to? Don't know if a family would want to take on that project or not...

It is in very highly desirable area in the HBF school district. There have been several tear downs in area already but not sure if done by builder or individuals...

Ideas/suggestions welcome.
