Make a big pot of chili, I just did that thi morning and i have meals for 3 nights, you can serve it as is, over rice, on top of pasta.

rock salt = goodbye concrete and plants.... do NOT use rock salt.. especially on concrete less than 2 years old... it will eat through all concrete eventually though.

calcium chloride or the other concrete safe stuff only!!!

unless you want to be replacing concrete...

I was in Goodwill on Merrick Rd., Bellmore. I bought 5 pair of name-brand jeans, some tools, a work coat, a leather belt, and a small lamp for a grand total of $47. I'm sure they're all over the Island,

There's another one on Jericho Tpke, diagonally across from Elwood Rd. One of my daughters goes there occasionally; apparently Sundays they have super bargains - specially marked items for $1.00/ea!!

I have been using rock salt or the cheapest ice melt i can find on my 200 ft drive way for 35 years with no problems its all Black Top not concrete.

I would not use it on pavers. We have a paver stone patio and front and back steps are pavers
