Yes, it was white up until about 10 years ago. I also think it is the longest, continually run general store in the US. IIRC, Suffolk County runs it now.

I remember as kids riding my bike up there for cold drinks from the ice box, and fresh fudge and licorice.

sure everyone is welcome to contribute photos or anything they would like to share about their experiences going there. It's too bad that some feel this place is not worth checking out.

I remember getting molasses pops covered in dark chocolate there as a kid. Still think the comma is wrong.
