No! Don't do it! Try cedar! Cedar has class. It looks good. It raises market property values without increasing taxes. It improves student performance without raising teacher salaries and, therefore, increases the reputation of the local school district. Heating and gasoline prices drop when cedar fencing is used. It rains less. Grass grows more slowly. Neighbours are friendlier and more cooperative to people with cedar fences. Trust me on this!

I think that LI Guy is correct. PVC is a toxic material and I believe it is banned in some European countries even.

well i have to match a PVC fence that is already installed on three sides, so I can't be replacing the entire perimeter over.

It's not like we're begging you to use wood or brick siding on just one side of your house and vinyl on the rest. Oh, wait, that's normal on LI.

See? Not matching is considered "good taste" on LI. No one will think a thing of it.

Default Fence Install from Lowe's

Don't buy the fence from Lowe's. It's been almost 2 months and I still can't seem to get all the right hardware to complete the job. And when I did receive the fence, it was damaged.
