The "Westbury, NY 11590" ZIP Code postal zone, not "Westbury", is a very large area, and includes all or part of the Hamlet of Jericho, the Hamlet of Hicksville, the Hamlet of New Cassel, the Hamlet of Salisbury, the Hamlet of East Meadow, the Hamlet of East Garden City, the Hamlet of Carle Place and the Village of Westbury. Each of these communities is further sub-divided into neighborhoods.

There are some low-income minority neighborhoods such as New Cassel and central Westbury which go to Westbury schools, and there is Salisbury which is relatively middle-upper middle class white which go to Clarke High School and East Meadow schools. I also have heard of a middle income African American area somewhere in Westbury, but Im not sure exactly where it is.

It is not Atlanits...it was what I described in my earlier post...middle to upper-middle income minorities (primarily A.A.) north of the parkway (i.e. Carriage Hills/The Hedges/Birchwood Knolls/Westbury on the Green/Sherwood Gardens/Westbury Hills(though not it the VoW).
