I am, and have been thinking about what ifs. one thing's for sure, i don't think I would want to deal with it. BUT first 'smell' of a zombie i would leave li, for sure, or beg someone for a ride on a boat to australia
That's right. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has published Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse on how to prepare for the zombie apocalypse.
The best thing about the Zombie apocalypse will be the threads on CD dedicated to which town has the best tasting brains... and the heated debates dedicated to how the inevitable "death tax" will make it impossible for a Zombie to stay on LI.
Heading to a military base like the Army Reserve base in Amytiville might be a good option. Its surrounded by a fence and grass all around which give a good distance to pick zombies off.
If you can gain access to a boat, personally I'd head to an island like the Statue of Liberty or Governors Island. What ever you choose the most important thing is to make sure you, your family and friends have a zombie emergency plan in place and everyone is aware of it. My family and I have one.
When the @hit hits the fan you can forget about getting out of the NY Metro area in time. Its probably better to gather what ever food, water, and supplies you can as soon as possible and just hunker down somewhere relatively safe.
See you on Governors Island. Be safe and god bless..
