I just sold a unit in Village Drive and there are no smells. I was there almost daily at all different times. The home owner and her neighbors never complained. I'm also pretty sure that it's not even active anymore. They build brand new homes directly across the street from the landfill and they're going for 600k each.

Probably listed on the MLS as "mountain views". Only on LI.

I know those houses. I wouldn't live in a house there for free, nevermind pay 600K. It's not just about the water (I'm sure they don't have wells), it's about air pollution from the outgassing. Not worth the risk, especially with kids.
