Gas seems to always be less expensive from Shoreham to Aquebogue...and usually right along Rt 25 (it's in the $3.20's right now). Anyone know why? Is there a secret pipeline we aren't being told about?

No, just competition and maybe a lack of purchases so they might be trying to boost demand. Currently in the Miller Place/Rocky Point areas it is between 3.53-3.67.
You'd think it'd be cheaper in Setauket considering how many people they killed in Story Book/Terminal Rd. area.
Crooks
Are the Setauket tanks even used anymore? That place looks rather desolate -- never see any activity over there, except for when they move the security guard car.
we came across a gas station in Boston that said "gas is gas" on the top near its name and they charged significantly less. But all you saw were beaters filling up. I wouldn't buy from any of the non-big names either... gotta be somewhat careful.
The wholesale price of gasoline has been in a near term decline, and closed on Friday (November 18) at $2.47-84/100.
Retail gasoline prices tend to be at a $0.75 to $1.25/gallon premium to the wholesale gasoline price as traded on the New York Mercantile Exchange, which would mean that a wholesale price of $2.48/gallon would indicate a retail price of $3.23 to $3.73/gallon, depending on where in the U.S. the retail pump might be located.
Gas could be E85 which has a tax break of 45 cents a gallon
