That's a great block even though it's close to the pkwy. I know that area. It's like a huge cul-de-sac along with the parkworlds, very private and secluded. Is that in VS North schools?

It's more south and east of what is generally considered (by the people that live here) "North Valley Stream" (that starts more west with Central Avenue). I'd consider Parkwold in "east/central VS." Parkwold goes to Central High School, not North High School. VS is actually pretty big. 3 elementary school districts. 1 central high school district with 3 high schools. 3 LIRR stations. 3 exits on Southern State Pkwy.

It's physically close to the SSP, yet the in/out to the neighborhood is secluded. There is no VS North school district. Do you mean North High School? This home goes to Central High School. It's in elementary SD 13. The other elementary SDs in VS are 24 (village, south valley stream, gibson) and SD 30 (western/northwestern part of VS).

I know a few families that live in Parkwold and their children go to North.

Guess its hard to guess by what you mean by Okay SD.

Valley Stream offers some value, also Malverne has some great looking houses. the SD isn't much to write home about, but it is certianly a nice area. Freeport has some fantiastic homes, some of the south is great, and same with the Stern's park area.

However, if you are concerned about having a good-great SD, I think Merrick, bellmore, wantagh are probably more up your alley

"Average" is not a good description for any type of insurance because there are so many variables. As a guideline, figure about $1,500-$1,800/yr. If it turns out to be less, all the better...

Looks like a very nice house! Photos appear to have been taken with a wide-angle lens, so they appear larger than in real life.
