You people have too much time on your hands.

Let them play Santa for a day. Kids of all religions look forward to it. Stop pissing on their parade !

That is not true: kids from Torah-observant, and even from some non-observant, secular, Jewish homes do not.

Large bonfires, which seems something well suited for the volunteers to do, are a secular part of the celebration of Lag B'Omer.

Now, now, Walter, you lobbed an easy one.

Lag B'Omer finds the Santa toting vollies putting the lights on flashing madly, running through intersections recklessly, sirens blaring and they do what they do best, day in and day out, they professionally put the fire out. Now don't you feel foolish that you complained about them toting Santa?

Now, that would be a sight to see. But, are you sure it wouldn't be a large Easter Bunny, not Santa?

Walter, would you be less upset if there was also a menorah on the fire truck and the music went something like this?

Happy Hanukkah!

No, really!

With the exception of a fireman's personal equipment, I do not think any religious symbol belongs on a gov't vehicle.
