Commuting train from Port Washington vs Manhasset (Flower Hill, Plandome: houses, to buy)

We are looking for houses in both areas. Anyone take the train from either location? Is there parking available or is it a hassle?

Also, if we buy in the Flower Hill area, is it possible to get a Plandome train parking sticker?

Manhassett parking sucks. You need to buy a yearly sticker, then pay $3 each day that you actually park there. Most spots are gone by 8-8:30.

Don't know about Plandome, but parking in PW is a breeze, at least around 7:30ish. A buck a day.

Port Washington is easier. It's also the first (or last) stop, so you always get a seat or don't accidentially go past your stop.
